What is BAM?

The uniqueness of personal boxing training mixed with weight lifting and cardio-vascular moves allows for a successful training session.

Philosophy

Since 1991 Julian has amassed a formidable amount of training, knowledge and practical experience that rank him as a top-notch professional in the boxing and weight management-training arena.

Julian is always refining the program. He knows the basic reasons why people fail when they embark on a training regimen. While sculpting your body, Julian teaches self-defense and confidence. Everyone is capable of making a dramatic change in his or her health and general well being.

Not just exercise Alone!

BAM emphasizes effective physical fitness does not come from exercise alone, but through a full and balanced knowledge of Biblical awareness, nutrition, humility, and lifestyle.


When I begin with a client, I first look at their goals and weather those goals are realistic for the time frame. When you start training with me, we would start at your comfort level then work in gradual changes with boxing, calisthenics and weights to either lose weight, tone up, and or become stronger.

The first thing you will notice is simply feeling better and more confident. The physical changes follow this but feeling better should not be discounted, as it is a very significant step in becoming healthier. “I look for positive results”. My program is geared toward the results you came for—the goal you set for yourself. When you begin training you will start to see a difference in your body.  I truly try to provide the necessary determination to really help my clients attain those long-sought personal goal of fitness.

 

 

 


Education and Experience Play a Fundamental Part!

I firmly believe in educating people with regards to their individual self-defeating perceptions of their body and our American fitness focus. I have found that there is an incredible amount of false and damaging information regarding health and fitness being spread around that can actually harm an individual. A well-informed and balanced person is capable of making intelligent choices in his or her life, thereby gaining more understanding and personal satisfaction in their workout.

I regularly supplement my knowledge by attending and creating fitness and health seminars. It is this continuing dedication to increasing my wife and I understanding that makes BAM so effective with clients where other programs and trainers have failed.

Training
 

This training program increases the heart rate, teaches self-defense, empowers and challenges you. On top of all that, you will build stamina and burn calories like never before. We use basic boxing & kickboxing combinations using focus mitts and gloves, (given to you by the instructor), calisthenics, jumps, lunges, and squats for the purpose of weight management and muscular conditioning. This type of training helps release frustration and at the same time tones and shapes the body. It’s a great way to get in shape while improving overall physical fitness, and your kick-butt skills.

Session are sometimes taught with upbeat music for rhythm and motivation. If you have physical injuries or reasons you are not comfortable with certain aspects of the training, Julian will show you other alternative variations to every move that will still offer the maximum workout and a good time.

Do I need experience in boxing?

No! All you need to have is you. This is a great place to begin. Each session starts off with the basic punches and progresses into more advance kicks and aerobic moves. There is always something new to learn. NOTE; no one ever gets hit!
